NSVC has three venues within a 5 mile radius in Newcastle-under-Lyme which are used for core club training and matches, and we also run further satellites at venues across North Staffordshire.
Our primary venue is Madeley High School (postcode CW3 9JJ) where we have worked closely in partnership with the school in recent years to make this a fantastic venue. With the club identity clear for all to see the hall allows for the flexible training that a club like ours needs, with 5 mini-courts, 3 short-courts and 1 show court all possible set-ups dependent upon who is using the hall. The ladies, men 2 and junior teams play their matches at Madeley, and Monday (6.30pm-10.30pm) and Friday (3.30pm-10pm) training nights take place here.
The ladies (Monday 8pm-10pm) and u18 girls (Wednesday 6pm-8pm) train at Newcastle Community High School (postcode ST5 2QY), one of the schools that contributed to the beginning of the club in 1980!
The Men's first team play their matches at one of the premier match venues in the country, with over 100 tiered seats on the viewing balcony at Keele University (postcode ST5 5BG), giving a fantastic atmosphere on match nights. Twice in the 2008-09 season the seats were packed with a 100+ spectators making a deafening noise in support of 'Castle!
